After launching a series of mid-range handsets, the Chinese tech giant now seems to be focusing on the tablet segment. The tablet had already been launched in other countries in April this year.

'A7-50' tablet comes with a quad-core 1.3 Ghz processor and sports a 7-inch display screen with a HD resolution. The tablet, which comes with a voice calling feature, has 5 megapixel rear camera and 2 MP front camera.

The tab has single SIM slot and is presently running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The company may provide an updated software, KitKat, later.

With 16 GB internal storage, the tab supports 32 GB external storage via SD card and has a 3450 mAh battery.

The A7-50 also comes preloaded with premium apps like SHAREit, SECUREit and SYNCit to enhance the user experience.

Using SHAREit, the users can sharing photos and content across devices without network charges or Wi-Fi connection, while SECUREit helps speed up the device and protect against viruses, spam, malware.
