The successor is said to have a special hard rubber body that can bend up to 90 degree angle. The report also said that that the phone will have a flexible battery that will support the device’s flexibility. This is not yet made clear by the company whether the smartphone will possess a removable battery or not.

As per the market buzz, the company will launch the device in second quarter of 2014. The current G Flex device has been launched only in Korea and is said to be just a test product. LG is working tough to give smartphone industry a new dimension by creating a whole new range of bendable handsets.

The company is yet to confirm about the next version of G Flex. The first and the only edition G Flex smartphone was released in October 2013. It is powered by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and contains a quad-core 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor along with an Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
