In February, the LG had announced the G Pro 2, successor to Optimus G Pro without revealing the price and availability. The smartphone was earlier available online in India at a discounted price of Rs 49,900.

The LG G Pro 2 runs on a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 processor along with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It is powered by Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box operating system with LG Optimus UI atop.

The handset is installed with a 5.9-inch full-HD IPS display that possesses a resolution of 1080x1920 pixel. It boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone also supports HD recording facility.

The smartphone contains 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity that can further be expanded up to 64GB through the usage of a microSD memory card.

The company had launched G Pro last year in the Indian market and received an exceptionally favorable response from consumers.
