The Korean company LG has come up with an inventive wearable band for kids with Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity. It is designed solely for pre-school kids and helps the parents to keep an eye on their kids’ whereabouts on their smartphones.

The KizON wristband supports both 2G and 3G connectivity and connects with the smart phone via a special app designed for the purpose. It thus enables the parents to see the real time location information of their kids on their smatphones.

‘One Step Direct Call’ is another important feature of KizON wristband, which help the kids and parents to communicate with each other. The kids can press a button on their wristbands and a pre configured number will connect the call to their parents. Similarly, the parents can also make a call and in case the kid fails to answer, the built-in-microphone automatically connects the call, allowing parents to listen what is going around their kid.

The battery life of KizON is of 36 hours and if it runs low, the parents get an alert in their smartphones. The eco-friendly polythiourethane material is used to make the wristband thus ensuring safety for the kids.

KizON wristbands will be released in Korea on 10 July while it will be launched in other parts of the world later.
