National co-convener of BJP’s communication cell Paritosh Vyas, who participated in the training camp ahead of the rally, said that apart from Facebook and Twitter, Modi’s rally would be telecast live on WhatsApp for the first time. He later attended a meeting with Laxmikant Vajpayee, party in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, and other leaders.

The party leaders also performed ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ ahead of the ‘Maha Rally’. Taking to media person after the rituals, Vajpayee said that nearly 15 lakh people are expected to attend the rally. Large number of youths, farmers, women and businessmen will be the part of crowd.

Earlier, the BJP has launched ‘Modi Chariot’ that aims at spreading awareness on the achievements and vision of the Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in at least 8,000 villages of Uttar Pradesh within a fortnight. The chariot has large 3D screens to make a video presentation of Modi's achievement.

The chariot uses modern techniques and makes it possible for people to interact with Modi under its ‘Chai pe Charcha’ (discussion over tea) campaign. The party is trying to reach out to around 2 crore people directly.
