New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader LK Advani will cover 100 districts across the country during his anti-corruption yatra beginning Oct 12. BJP general secretary Ananth Kumar said the yatra will start every day at 10 am and go on till 10 pm, covering 250-300 km a day.

“Advani will use a modified bus equipped with power lift (sky lift) that will also serve as dais. Every day, he will address three-four rallies and several nukkad (street) meetings,” Kumar told reporters.
The Jan Chetna Yatra will focus on corruption, terrorism and price rise. It will pass through 18 states and some union territories before culminating in New Delhi Nov 20 after covering almost 12,000 km.

It will pass through poll-bound states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Goa and touch Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Assam.
