New Delhi: The BJP seems to be promoting young face in the organization with senior party leader LK Advani missing from party banners and posters during the protest at Jantar Mantar against Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde’s Hindu terror remarks.

Advani’s absence from Jantar Mantar and his name missing from posters and banners have shocked the political corridor which is viewing it as a move to promote young gun in the party.

The BJP on Wednesday held protests to mount pressure on Shinde to tender apology for his controversial Hindu terror remarks. But, the party made a blunder by sidelining Advani in their campaign.

BJP president Rajnath Singh, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj, former party chief Venkaiah Naidu, Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitely were present during the protest. However, nobody commented on the absence of Advani from the protest.

The BJP didn’t groom the young leaders as the Congress did. The party has no option but to promote the young leaders if they want to perform better in the next general elections.
