New Delhi: Yamuna Expressway may be a breather for the people travelling from Delhi to Agra as it takes only two hours to complete journey but the farmers, whose lands have been acquired to construct the E-way, are getting no benefit out of it.

It takes two and half hours for the farmers to travel from the villages like Jewar, Rambupura to Noida.

Expressway has become operational but the construction work on its service lane has completed only to Dankaur.  Due to which, the farmers are facing many obstacles. The farmers and villagers residing near Yamuna Expressway are not getting benefit from the project.

They are feeling as ditched. Farmers in the areas say that they were promised that service lane will be constructed for the locals, but it has not been completed so far.

The service lane is still under construction due to which the locals are forced to face the obstacle to reach district head quarters, Greater Noida and Noida.

The angry people went on saying that they will start agitation, if the service lane is not completed soon.
