Indore: Lokayukta police on Sunday raided two residences belonging to Harda Registrar Makhan Singh Patel and claimed to have unearthed assets worth Rs 2 crore.

A team of Lokayukta Special Establishment Police under the direction of Superintendent of Police (Lokayukta) Virendra Singh raided Patel’s residences at Indore and Harda.

Although his premise at Harda was locked and the raid was unsuccessful but at his Indore residence, the police had detected movable and immovable properties worth Rs 2 crore.

The assets included a house and a flat in Indore, a plot in Ujjain, 20 bigha land in Omkareshwar, a farm house expanded over 15 bigha land in Dewas, a flat in Shalimar Township, gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 20 lakh, police said.
