The students of Uppsala University studied 15 healthy normal-weight men who came to the lab for almost two-night long stays.During the second night, the participants slept as usual (over eight hours) in one of the two sessions, while they were kept awake in the other session.

The collected molecular tissues sample has proved that the regulation and activity of genes have developed after a one night sleep loss.

They also found that the phrase of genes, which is emblematic that how much genes product is made, got developed.

This study is the first case to show that how body fats increased after a one night sleep loss and can make various changes in the body tissue cells.
