Anti-nuclear activist SP Uday Kumar has been fielded from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. Lawyer Himmat Singh Shergill will contest from Punjab’s Anandpur Sahib seat.

The party has announced six candidates in Bihar, eight in Tamil Nadu, four in Uttar Pradesh, and one each in Maharashtra, Tripura, Sikkim, Rajasthan, Punjab, Puducherry, Mizoram and Manipur.

Among others, who have been given party ticket to contest the polls are - Ramnivas Paswan (Bansgaon), Rita Singh (Shahjahanpur), Salman Ali Khan (Rampur), Rakesh Yadav (Firozabad), Dhanajay Paswan (Gaya), BK Das (Jamui), Rajendra Singh (Nawada), Pranav Prakash (Nalanda), Kaushal Rai (Sikkim), J Prabhakar (Chennai Central).

With the release of its seventh list, the AAP has so far announced 268 candidates for 543 Lok Sabha seats.
