Addressing an election rally in Tilauthu on Sunday evening, Lalu described the BJP and RSS as communal forces, who were posing a ‘threat’ to the country.

He also vowed to stop NDA’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi just as he had stalled BJP stalwart Lal Krishna Advani's ‘rath yatra’ in the past.

He also used the occasion to target the Janata Dal (United).

“The Janata Dal (United) and BJP entered into love marriage 17 years ago to keep me out of power in Bihar. This has resulted in divorce and now that I am out of jail, their plans of capturing power have failed,” he said.

Meanwhile, Meira Kumar in her address highlighted the achievements of Congress-led UPA government and vowed to take forward the development works in the region.

She told Lalu in Bhojpuri that both Congress and RJD workers are working unitedly in Sasaram.

Polling in Sasaram will take place on April 10.
