To improve the voting percentage, IMA’s Bihar chapter chief Dr Rajiv Ranjan Prasad on Saturday appealed to all the doctors in the state to provide 25 percent discount on medical services to those people who would exercise their franchise on polling day. Their kids can also avail the unique facility.

IMA’s Bihar chapter chief urged all the doctors to give concession on consultation fees and on other services for next two days after Election Day to anyone who has a stained finger which implies that the person has voted. Dr Prasad added that most of the doctors in the state have welcomed his appeal.

On the initiative of Returning Officer cum District Magistrate, private doctors are also playing their role in making the polls a grand success in the state. Around 70 percent voting is expected in the state this time around in general elections.
