Mumbai: R Madhavan minces no words about the fact that he is attracted to his co-actor Bipasha Basu. He has teamed up with Bipasha for the upcoming 'Jodi Breakers', directed by Ashwini Chaudhary.

"Whenever you have chemistry on-screen, then you have to be very attracted to the person. And I am definitely attracted to Bipasha as a person. She is phenomenal and if you don't have that chemistry, then it is difficult to portray the romance on screen," Madhavan said, talking to reporters here on Friday night after the music launch of the film.

"May be in songs like `Kunwara' (from the film) one can pull it off with dance and with the ability of the choreographer. But in a song like `Darmiya', if you don't have the chemistry, then it is very, very difficult to do," he said. The film is a story of two individuals who break relationships of others, but end up falling in love with each other.

Raving about Ms Basu, Madhavan said, "She is exotically beautiful, charming...I did not know how our relationship would be on the sets. She never made me realise how big a star she is."

The film is set to release on February 24.
