The 45 year old national-award winning director, who is known for seeking real life inspirations for his films, took to Twitter to announce the same.
"Been a HECTIC month! Mauritius,US and London. But it's great to be back where the action is! MUMBAI! Resume shooting #CalendarGirls from today (sic)," he posted on Twitter.
Five newcomers will be seen in the lead. The film revolves around the models who gain popularity after featuring in famous calendars.

After starting the shoot of the movie with five new faces in July, Bhandarkar managed to complete fifty percent of its shooting by early September.

Bhandarkar, who has helmed films like 'Fashion' and 'Corporate', last directed the 2012 movie 'Heroine' featuring Kareena Kapoor.
