Bhopal: Two cases of breach of privilege against Madhya Pradesh Pradesh Congress Committee president Kantilal Bhuria remain pending with the state assembly which is yet to be considered by the Speaker Ishwardas Rohini.

Informing the assembly over the pending cases, Deputy Speaker Harbans Singh on Friday approved the proposal for extending the tenure of BJP MLA Nagendra Singh Gudha led high-powered committee for probing six related cases to the last day of Budget Session.

Notably, the Madhya Pradesh State Women Commission had registered a case against Bhuria for allegedly using the term ‘natchne wali’ (dance women) while referring to School Education Minister Archana Chitnis and Minister of State for Women and Child Development Ranjana Baghel in  course of  his speech last year in assembly.

The other six cases pending with the House are against BJP MLAs Vishwas Sarang and Dhruv Narayan Singh, Home Minister Umashankar Gupta, Congress MLAs Arif Aqeel, Kalpana Parulekar, Nishith Patel and Lakhan Dhandhoriya.
