Gwalior: Girding its loins to prohibit misconduct and cheating during the High School and Higher Secondary examination conducted by Madhya Pradesh Secondary Board, the Police and district administration along with the Education Department will take stern action against the student for wrong doings.

The state board exams began from Thursday. In Gwalior, over 28,000 students are appearing for High School examination and 21,000 for Higher Secondary.

The administration is all set to conduct fair and transparent examinations. In a pro active move to prevent any kind of misconduct during the exams, the authorities will lodge an FIR against student caught red handed while cheating.

SP Makrand Deoskar has assured of complete assistance to education department. He said to provide additional police force to maintain security at examination centre. Besides, flying squads comprising of district administration officials will make surprise visits at the centres.

Additional city magistrate, RK Mishra has ordered the centre supervisors to check students before their entry into examination halls. If in case any incident of misconduct is brought to notice, the examiner will also be held responsible for it.
