New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will meet leading industrialists on Wednesday to seek investments in the state.

The representatives of top business houses including Nestle, Essar, Modi Enterprises, J K Tyres, Philips Electronics, Shakti Bhog foods, Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages, Somani Group, Medanta Medicity and Apollo Hospitals Group will meet the Chief Minister on August 1, an official said.

Chouhan will also meet top officials of other nations including Mauritius, Russia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka to promote Madhya Pradesh as ideal destination for investments.

"The purpose of the meet is to brief potential investors on the different industrial promotional schemes by the state.

There will be one-on-one luncheon meeting with officials of foreign embassies too," the official said.

The Chief Minister will be accompanied by state Industries Minister Kailash Vijaywargiya and Chief Secretary R Parsuram.
