Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the state Pavilion under India Show at M-Tech in Tokyo.

Over 100 Indian companies exhibited products at the 16th Mechanical Components and Materials Technology Expo (M-Tech) in Tokyo on Thursday, an official release said.

Chouhan also held discussions with representatives of smart community consortium companies regarding projects of Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). The representatives said the latest and high technologies will be used in DMIC-related projects.

M-Tech is the biggest exhibition of Japan where mechanical parts including bearings, springs and plastic processing technologies are displayed.
Distinct shift from 2BHK to 3 BHK units in Chennai today said a "distinct" shift in preference of people in Chennai from two BHK (Bedroom Hall Kitchen) to three BHK units.

Company Vice President and Business Head Ganesh Vasudevan said compared to Q2 of 2011, in the last three quarters the demand for 2BHKs had gone down by 16 percent while that for 3BHKs had shot up by 18 percent.

Also more NRIs were showing interest in buying property as Q1 of 2012 had witnessed 8.43 percent increase in number of inquiries by the non-resident Indians.

He attributed depreciation of Indian rupee being the most telling reason for increase in NRI interest in property.

Another Indian property show to open in Dubai on Thursday

In what is almost becoming a weekly affair, Dubai will host yet another Indian property which opens on Thursday.

Organizers claim it will be the biggest display of Indian properties in Dubai showcasing properties worth Rs229 billion (15 billion dirhams) by over 70 developers exhibiting over 300 projects.

Some of the leading developers at the show include Mantri Developers, Nirmal Lifestyle, Nahar Group, Hiranandani, Ansal API, Ireo Pvt ltd, Amrapali , Brigade Group plus Investors Clinic-India's leading real estate consultancy, Assetz Homes and Sobha Developers.
