Gwalior: The Gwalior Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court has sought reply from the state government by November 16 in the alleged forged caste certificate case of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Rajendra Singh Saluja.

After the state level investigations, it was discovered that Saluja had been allegedly using fake caste certificate to contest the Assembly elections.

Moreover, the same was used by him to contest and win the Guna seat under the reserved category.

Saluja had filed a petition in the court requesting to end the investigations by the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department against him.

However, the troubles for Saluja seem not to ease soon as the investigating department disagrees with his arguments and is considering the certificate as fake.

According to the sources, during the investigation it was found that most of the certificates like ration cards etc belonging to Saluja had marked him in the general category.
