Education, Pune is the board who takes the exam of Secondary as well as higher secondary in the state and responsible for conducting the exam and then publishing the results on time. Board is having intension to give the fine education in the state of Maharashtra.

Krishnakumar Patil (Maharashtra Board, Secretary) confirmed the report and said, "The Maharashtra HSC MSBSHE Class XII results 2014 will be declared on 2nd June at 1.00 pm and students will be able to access it through the website — www.mahresult.in."

Although, MSBSHSE HSC Result announcement is expected this week, a top official of the state board told mid-day that preparation of the final report on Class 12th results is still ongoing. “Until the computerized report consisting of statistical data of all nine divisional boards is ready, the board will not be in a position to announce the MSBSHSE HSC result date. Once this report is finalized, the result can be declared online on the next day,” the MSBSHSE board official said. In relation to this when a reporter questioned the authority – what was the main reason for the delay in declaration of the Maharashtra HSC MSBSHE examination results?

He said, the main reason for the delayed of MSBSHE this year is elections results and in 2013 the HSC result was announced online on 30th May, 2013.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education MSBSHE, Pune 411004 is an Autonomous Body established under the provisions of the Maharashtra Act No. 41 of 1965. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, conducts the HSC and SSC Examinations in the state of Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur and Ratnagiri. The Board conducts examination twice a year and the number of students appearing for the main examination is around 14 Lacs for HSC and 17 Lac’s SSC, for the supplementary examination around 6 Lacs students are expected HSC and SSC together. There are about 21000 schools (SSC) and 7000 (HSC) Higher Sec. Schools / Jr. colleges in the entire state.
