After Dabholkar was gunned down during our government, there was criticism inside and outside the Legislature, but even the attackers of Govind Pansare have not yet been arrested, the senior Congress leader told reporters here yesterday.

"On one side the government is not keen on nabbing the killers of Dabholkar and Pansare, while on the other hand pressure is being mounted on government prosecutor to show sympathy towards the 2008 Malegoan bomb blasts accused Pragya Singh Thakur and Lt Col Shrikant Purohit and others," he alleged.

Anti-superstition crusader Narendra Dabholkar was shot dead in Pune on August 20, 2013. Pansare, a prominent anti-toll activist and rationalist, was shot-at in Kolhapur on February 16 this year. He died in Mumbai on February 20.
