The vehicle, which has been launched in Pearl White colour, comes with various luxury features including chrome plated alloy wheels and new upholstery, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) Limited said in a statement.
"With its classy appearance and plush interiors, I am sure that the Scorpio Special Edition will be an instant hit with consumers," M&M chief marketing officer, Automotive Division, Vivek Nayer said.
The company said that only 500 units of the special edition of the SUV will be rolled out.
The new variant, which is powered by 2.2 litre diesel engine, comes with features like intellipark with sensors in the rear bumper for easier reverse parking and rain, light sensors that automatically control wipers and headlights, anti lock braking system and airbags.
M&M said that it has sold over 4 lakh units of Scorpio since its launch in 2002 and over 50,000 units of the SUV have been sold in the past two years.
