An AMT variant of the Quanto was displayed during the 2014 Auto Expo. The company sources also revealed that the new version of this sub-four meter SUV is expected to be launched in India by 2015.

Sources said that the Quanto's upgraded version is likely to be developed under the codename U215.

Mahindra plans to position it between the compact SUV codenamed S101 and Mahindra Bolero facelift.

As per our speculations, the AMT variant of Mahindra Quanto is expected to be priced and positioned on top of its current range.

The current model of Quanot comprises of a 1.5 litre, three cylinders turbocharged diesel engine with maximum power output of 100bhp.
