New Delhi (Jagran News Network): Maharashtra Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Tuesday arrested Praveen Mutalik for his alleged involvement in the Malegaon blast of 2008, in which same right wing organizations and persons have come under scanner.

He was produced before a special MCOCA court which remanded him in police custody till February 14, sources said, adding two others - Ramji Kalangsara and Sandeep Dange - are still absconding.

According to ATS sources, Mutalik has been charged with planting the bombs and is a main accused in the case.

Mutalik was still evading arrest in the case, was picked up last night, ATS sources said.

Earlier, ATS had put 11 persons behind bar including key accused Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and Lt. Colonel Shrikant Prasad Purohit.
