Kolkata: Firing a salvo at the Trinamool Congress, West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattarcharya said that regime change is not a child’s play. Criticising Trinamool policy, he said Mamata is devoid of any clear agenda.

Addressing a rally in Yadavpur on Sunday, Buddha said, “The change in Bengal’s ruling party advocated by Trinamool Congress is impossible. To overthrow a ruling party is not a child’s play. The people of West Bengal are aware of Trinamool Congress’ lack of clear policy.”

Defending his stand on industrialisation of the state, the Chief Minister said, “My decision for industrialisation was not wrong as it can serve as an important means to provide employment to youths.”

He added that the main opposition party in the state, Trinamool Congress, has joined hands with Maoists to come to power. He also blamed the TC for creating a situation of lawlessness in the state.

In a last ditch effort to placate the voters present in the rally, he said, “The future of West Bengal lies in the hands of people of the state.”
