Kharagpur: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has flayed the Left parties and held them responsible for the battered financial condition of the state. Highlighting the plight she said that the state’s gross revenue is Rs 21,000 crore and is forced to pay Rs 26, 000 crore rupees as an interest.

Fed up with the continuous attack from the Left parties over the functioning of her government, Mamata while addressing a rally in West Midnapore said that despite the negativism being spread by the opposition parties, her government will continue with its development work in the state.

She further said that 34-year-old misrule of the previous Left government was responsible for pushing the state on the verge of bankruptcy.

Mamata also heaped lavish praises on her government and vowed to bring the state on the development map in next ten years.
