Lucknow: One person impersonating as an IAS officer was on Thursday arrested when he went to meet the Chief Minister's principal secretary.

Saurabh Garg, claiming to be an IAS officer of 1991 batch posted as joint secretary, Finance, Government of India reached the fifth floor of secretariat annexe to meet Principal Secretary to CM, Rakesh Garg.

During his meeting with Rakesh, Saurabh could not give satisfactory answers to some questions related to his batch-mates after which he was handed over to police.

The fifth floor of annexe is considered a high-security zone and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's office is also there. The government has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
