He also asked them to prepare a country-wide list of people of Bihar working beyond India's borders.
Manjhi directed officials to develop a mechanism to survey child laborers engaged in carpet weaving at Bhadoi in Uttar Pradesh and various industries in other states and make efforts to rescue them.

Chief Minister gave the directions while reviewing the functioning of LRD, including insurance and welfare schemes related to laborers.
LRD Secretary Sanjay Kumar said the CM has asked to take action against persons at whose installations the rescued child laborers had been working.

"The CM has also directed us to send proposal to the central government to provide Rs 1 lakh for the rehabilitation of rescued bonded laborers. The Centre will have to provide Rs 90,000 of it, while Rs 10,000 will be contributed by the state. At present Rs 10,000 is given for the rehabilitation of such laborers," said Kumar.

Speaking at the review meeting, Manjhi also ordered officials to provide Rs 20,000 instead of the current Rs 15,000 for buying tools and bicycle.
Manjhi approved the housing scheme for 'bidi workers' under which the Centre will provide Rs 75,000 while the state will contribute Rs 25,000 for constructing houses.

He also asked the LRD officials to send a proposal to New Delhi so that the ratio of money for the scheme is fixed at 90:10 for Centre and the state.
