Shimla: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will address an election meeting in poll-bound Himachal Pradesh on Sunday, the Congress said in Shimla.

"The prime minister will address a public rally in Una town on October 28 at 3 p.m.," All India Congress Committee secretary Anees Ahmed told reporters in Shimla. He said the Congress has planned only one rally for the Prime Minister.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who started the election campaign in the state with a mass rally in Mandi town on October 22, is holding two rallies in the state on October 30.

The rallies would be held in Shimla and Kangra towns, former state minister Harsh Mahajan said. Himachal Pradesh will go to the polls on November 4. The results will be announced on December 20.
