Kolkata: Three posters carrying Maoist threats to the Left and Trinamool Congress parliamentarians over the price hike were found near the CPI office in Netaji Nagar area.

On Wednesday morning, people found that Maoists had left three warning note flaying the state government over the increasing price rates and had advocated to punish the corrupt Ministers.

Baranagar police station SHO Himadri Bandopadhya had confirmed the reports of the threat note. In the note, a warning has been issued that the corrupt Ministers in the ruling TMC and Left government will be heavily punished.

The police have started the investigations.

Notably, the note has been found just two days before the scheduled visit of the Chief Minister to the Junglemahal area.

Earlier she had asked the Maoist to surrender their arms.
