Mumbai: RPI leader Ramdas Athawale on Tuesday said that Marathas and even the Brahmins should get reservations in education and jobs.

Maratha community is politically dominant in Maharashtra.

"We will also fight for the Maratha reservations," Athawale, a prominent Dalit leader, said at a programme here.

"Marathas should get 15 percent reservations, whereas other upper caste communities should get 10 percent reservation," he added.
