Huawei Honor 4X



The Huawei Honor 4X features 5.5-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The device is clocked at 1.2GHz quad core processor from Qualcomm which is complimented by 2GB worth of RAM.

It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat clubbed with Emotion User Interface 3.0 along with 8GB internal storage capacity expandable up to 32GB through a microSD card slot.

It gets a 13MP camera on the rear surface along with a 5MP one on the front for selfie lovers. The Honor 4X also supports 4G LTE connectivity. The smartphone's body is home to a 3000mAh battery to keep it going for longer time.

Xiaomi Redmi 2 at Rs 6,999



Xiaomi launched its much awaited Redmi 2 at Rs 6,999 in India. Revamped Redmi 2  variant inherits a few features from its predecessor along with a bundle of upgrades apart from the 4G-capability.

Redmi 2 sports a 4.7-inch IPS HD display and is clocked at 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor. Xiaomi Redmi 2 will run on Android 4.4-based MIUI 6.0 software while the Redmi 1S runs on the Android 4.3-based MIUI 5.0 custom skin.

On the memory front, 8GB internal storage which is expandable through microSD card up to 32GB complimented by 1GB worth of RAM and connectivity options.

Redmi 2 gets an upgraded 2-megapixel camera and measures 9.2mm and weighs 134grams. The battery has been modified and fueling the smartphone's operations is 2,200mAh for enhanced usage.

Moto E (Second Generation)



Motorola launched the second generation of its affordable smartphone 'Moto E' to India on March 10 at Rs 6,999, signifying the growing importance of the market here for the US-based firm.

With a slightly larger 4.5-inch display with 690 x 540pixel resolution, the device runs on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop software and features 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 400MHz Adreno 306 GPU , 5MP rear camera and 2,390 mAh battery. With 1GB worth of RAM, the device has 8GB internal memory (expandable upto 32GB).

Apple Watch



Apple unveiled its entry in the smartwatch market, a high-end device that allows users to make and receive calls and messages and track health and fitness.

The watch is also integrated with Apple Pay's mobile wallet, and can be used to view pictures and monitor news, and also connect to social media. The watch can use other apps ranging from Uber ride-sharing to music to home automation.

Lava Iris Fuel 10, Iris Fuel 25


Lava added two more smartphones to its flagship Fuel series-- Iris Fuel 10 and Iris Fuel 25-- priced at Rs 6,541 and Rs 5,666, respectively. What makes these devices a good deal is their enhanced battery capacity and that too at an affordable price.

The Lava Iris Fuel 10 features 4.5 inch display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. The device is clocked at 1.3 GHz Mediatek Quad Core Processor which is complimented by 1 GB RAM.

The smartphone is equipped with 5-megapixel camera on the rear with auto focus feature and with BSI+ sensor paired with LED Flash.

The Iris Fuel 25 features a 5 inch TFT display and is clocked at 1.0 GHz dual-core processor clubbed with 512MB RAM. The device gets internal storage of 4GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB through microSD card.

It is also equipped with 5-megapixel camera on the rear and VGA camera on the front. The device runs on Android KitKat 4.4 and has a 3,000 mAh Li – Polymer battery to fuel its opeartions which the company claims that it will offer 15 hours continuous talk time on a 3G network and 45 hours audio playback time.

Karbonn Titanium Mach Two S360 at Rs 10,490



Karbonn launched Titanium Mach Two S360, a smartphone which belongs to it's much anticipated flagship range Titanium.

The smartphone was listed on the company's website for Rs 10,490 but other e-commerce portals are  selling it for Rs 9,715.

Mach Two is the successor of the erstwhile smartphone Mach One which was released in January. The all-new Karbonn smartphone sports a 5-inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on both sides of  the device with 720x1280 pixels resolution. Karbonn Titanium Mach Two is clocked at 1.4 GHz  octa core processor copmplimented by 1GB RAM.

The device runs on Android 4.4 OS and offers 8 GB of internal storage space that can be extended up to 32 GB using a microSD memory card. On the connectivity front, the phone gets 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0.

Xiaomi launches Mi Pad at Rs 12,999



After making a significant presence in the Indian smartphone market, Chinese gadget manufacturer Xiaomi has launched Mi Pad at Rs 12,999 to mark a blasting debut into nation's tablet market.

The Mi Pad sports a 7.9-inch IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3. The tablet is powered by a 2.2Ghz quad core Nvidia Tegra K1 processor, GeForce Kepler GPU (with 192 cores) backed by 2GB RAM.

The tablet features a 16GB internal storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card. The device gets its power from a 6,700mAh battery.  The Mi Pad sports a 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter.

HTC launches Desire 820s at Rs 24,890



Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC on Wednesday launched it's Tuxedo Grey coloured, dual sim smartphone Desire 820s priced at  Rs 24,890. HTC Desire 820s was unveiled in January, 2015.

The 155 gram handset features 5.5” wide HD screen display with 720x1280 pixels resolution and measures  157.7 x 78.74 x 7.74 mm. The device has best in the class 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera for selfie lovers. The dual-SIM HTC Desire 820s runs on Android 4.4 KitKat Operating System.

The f/2.2 aperture on the 13 megapixel BSI sensor will mean better results in low light, continuous shooting mode is an added advantage.

The phone is clocked at 1.7 GHz Octa-Core processor complimented by 2GB worth of RAM and comes clubbed with dual SIM slots, fixed with HTC’s signature BoomSound front facing speakers, the device aims at enhanced audio experience.

Motorola unveils Moto Turbo at Rs 41,999



Schaumburg-based device maker Motorola released its powerful top-end phone Moto Droid Turbo in India as Moto Turbo. The company's official website features an advertisement to reveal the phone.

After the official launch of the phone an e-retailer Flipkart has now put the phone on a pre-order offer and the shipping of the device will reportedly start in March third week. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 41,999 and the Black variant of the phone is up for grab in the country which sports ballistic nylon surface on the back of the phone.

Motorola Turbo was introduced in United States in October 2014 originally as Droid Turbo. The name was modified for the same handset and it was launched as Moto Maxx a month later in Brazil.

Moto Turbo smartphone features a 5.2-inch QHD AMOLED display with 2560x1440 pixels revolution, the device is clocked at Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor complimented by 3GB worth of RAM. The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and entails Motorola’s usual software modifications.
