Commenting on the development, Mars International India marketing director Raghav Rekhi said: "We are confident that this association will drive visibility for the brand and will put across the communication in a cut-through manner."

He further said the actor is a perfect fit for the new brand campaign and brings alive the attributes that the company is looking for the new launch. On his part, Rampal said: "I am thrilled to be a part of one of the biggest Mars Inc launch campaigns in India and am looking forward to a great journey ahead."

The company, however, did not disclose the financial details of its partnership with the actor. Mars International India, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mars Inc USA, a family-owned company generating annual revenues of over USD 30 billion. The company has presence in over 79 countries worldwide and sells brands, including Mars, Snickers, Dove and Twix.
