Industry experts opine that the company is launching Wagon R Stingray mainly to defy the slump in its sales. Apart from that, WagonR is one of the top selling cars across the nation and Maruti Suzuki has kept on upgrading the all popular hatchback’s look and feel from time to time. Though there has been no official confirmation on the issue by Maruti Suzuki, it’s believed that the car will hit the streets soon. The present model for sale is available in 3 petrol and one CNG variant.

The WagonR Stingray dons a super sporty look and the frontal part has been provided a major uplift to add more muscle to the car. The new version is set to have slimmer headlamps, new look fog lamp clusters and a new chrome grille. Besides, it also has grey-finish alloy wheels, new rear spoiler, sleek tail lamps and a new chrome strip with the name logo.

Some of the major changes, which are expected in this hatchback are revamped interiors with black upholstery, high quality floor mats and an advanced audio system. Other features of the WagonR Stingray will include electronically adjustable optical rear view mirrors, projector headlights, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and airbags.

The company is likely to bring in the new version with specifications similar to that of the current model and WagonR Stringray is likely to be priced at around Rs 4.10 lakh.
