As per the reports, the car will be featuring automatic manual transmission (AMT) that can be prove to be a turning point in Indian small-car sector. This new car will directly allow the users to shift gears without using the clutch. The technology will not affect either the price or the fuel efficiency of this car.

If the market buzz is to be believed, this new vehicle will be named Celerio in India. Though, the company has not officially spoken anything regarding this new piece of automobile.

Country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India earlier reported 4.4 percent decline in its total sales at 90,924 units in December 2013 as against 95,145 units in the same month previous year.

Domestic sales during the month stood at 86,613 units, up 5.5 percent from 82,073 units in December previous year, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said in a statement.
