New Delhi: Mastermind of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks Hafiz Saeed roams free in Pakistan despite a hefty bounty on his head by US government for abetting terror. Displaying brazen defiance to the international efforts on curbing scourge of terror, Saeed has said that his fate is in the hands of almighty and not America.

Saeed, 64, said this in an interview to a newspaper.

Hafiz Saeed, chief of Jamaat-ud-Dawah, said that he enjoys every right availed by a common Pakistani adding that he roams free without any fear which is his style.

According to the newspaper report, the premises where Saeed lives comprise a house and a mosque. It is like a garrison and heavily guarded not only by his supporters but also by Pakistani security personnel.

Saeed claimed that the Pakistani courts have given him clean chit in various cases including Mumbai terror attack. He also questioned that why the US shows no respect for Pak’s judicial system.

Saeed recalled a visit he made to the US in 1994, during which he spoke at Islamic Centers in Houston, Chicago and Boston.

The report also quoted some western intelligence officials saying that the training camps, where LeT member and key accused of Mumbai terror attack David Headley got training, have not been shut down yet.
