From make-up to attires to footwear, fashionistas, especially women, are very particular about how they carry themselves. Stilettos, sandals, riding boots, kitten heels, ballet flats— footwear can make or break an outfit. However, with so many available options, it gets difficult at times to figure out what kind of footwear complement your outfit best. Here is a simple guide that enables you to complement your outfit with perfect heels.

Add colours:

Adding a lot of nude or neutral shades can give you a dull look. In order to avoid this dullness in your personality, go for bright colours. For example, pair up red bright shoes with black and white outfits or wear green shoes with brown outfits. This combination can give you a smart look. You can try another similar combination.

Confused? Pick nude:

Can’t make your mind for the right footwear; bring on cool, relaxed styling with nude shoes. They match easily with your skin tone. They also complement well with bright shades of your dresses.

Stay neutral:

There are many neutral shades which go perfectly well when it comes to selecting footwear like black dress with black sandals or white dress with white shoes. If you want to get even a coloured look, give glittering effect with sparkling accessories to your dress so that you can get rid of old monotonous look.

Tame bright outfits

If your outfits are loud or shimmery, go for neutral shade footwear else you may look like shiny disco ball. Choose smart white sandals with royal blue outfits, black sandals with shimmery grey and nude coloured sandals with golden shade dresses.

If you like monochromatic look, select matching footwear with your outfits. If your are wearing a pink top with jeans, you can opt pink sandals for monochromatic look or if you have multi-coloured dress, you can choose one colour and pair up your outfit with shoes of similar colour. But make sure that it doesn’t affect your over all look.
