London: Actor Matt Damon was all set to direct his first movie has pull out of the untitled project due to time commitments.

According to a website, Damon has now signed 'Good Will Hunting' director Gus Van Sant as his replacement who will start shooting the movie later this year.

Damnon, 41, teamed up with John Krasinski to co-write the untitled drama and he originally planned direct the movie. However, he dropped the idea after realising he won't have enough time for the job.
