Auraiya: Taking a dig at Chief Minister Mayawati, BJP state in-charge Uma Bharati accused the CM of corruption and assured the people to put her behind bars if it is voted to power in the upcoming elections.

Holding Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh and Mayawati responsible for the deteriorating condition of the state, the star campaigner of the saffron brigade said that the BJP should get another chance to prove itself.

Asserting for a corruption-free state, Bharti while addressing a rally at Auraiya said, “The financial aid provided to the states can be proved beneficial only if the ministers of that state are honest.”

Bharati even flayed the SP for neglecting the backward classes of the state.

Not missing a chance to attack the Congress, Bharti even questioned the intentions of the Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi who has promised to change the face of the state if voted to power.

However, she evaded all questions relating to the induction and suspension of former BSP minister Babu Singh Kushwaha.
