Fatehpur: Once known to be the right hand of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, expelled Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) minister Babu Singh Kushwaha, currently facing a CBI probe for his alleged involvement in the infamous National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) scam, came out openly against the CM.

Addressing a rally in the state Kushwaha said, “The scams were carried out at the behest of the Chief Minister. And when the CM felt that she was trapped, an enquiry was ordered. The order to conduct inquiry into the scams is just eyewash.”

Refuting the charges against him, Kushwaha said, “The CBI will find out the truth.”

The sacked BSP minister said he had a lot of things to expose the BSP government, which he would do at the right time.

"I know a lot of things which would land the Mayawati government in soup if they go public domain. I will expose these at the right time," he said.

Terming the BSP as the non-sympathiser of the backward classes, Khushwaha said, “The Mayawati led BSP government and the Centre are hand in gloves in giving 27 percent to the Muslim community, which is actually for the OBCs.”

However, he was tightlipped on his joining the BJP.
