Mayawati said that her party would not support Modi even if the NDA manages to get closer to the magical figure of 272.

Taking a jibe at the BJP, Mayawati said Modi is talking about taking support from BSP, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee and AIADMK supremo Jayalalitha because of the poor condition of the NDA in Lok Sabha elections.

Branding Modi and BJP as ‘desperate’ for reaching out to her, Mayawati said she would not support the NDA as long as the Gujarat Chief Minister is their prime ministerial candidate.

Mayawati also claimed that Jayalalithaa, Banerjee or Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh may decide to support Modi after elections but her party would not support a government led by him at any cost.

Earlier, Modi in his interview to Times Now refused to rule out the possibility of forging a post-poll alliance with any regional party in particular.
