Lucknow: With the differences between departments persisting during the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Chief Minster Mayawati will now take a decision on the facilities to be provided to the rural population by the Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway Authority.

The proposal on rules of regularization of Abaadi land was presented for approval in the cabinet meeting.

According to the sources, a provision has been made in the proposal to regularise the land habited before June 30, 2011. Therefore, 450 square kilometre under Noida Development Authority (NDA), 5000 sq km under Yamuna Expressway Development Authority and 3000 sq km under Greater Noida Authority will be regularised according to the proposal.

It has been said that under Noida Development Authority, native of a village living in another village will also be entitled to the benefits of the regularisation of land. This provision is not available in the policy made in 2010. In such a case, 50 percent of commercial land will be regularised and the rate of the remaining half of land will be decided by the Development Authority.

The officials of the state Secretariat met Chief Executive Officer Balwinder Kumar on Thursday to discuss on the issue and finally indicated that the decision will be taken by the Chief Minister.
