New Delhi: Concerned over the security of over 10000 Indians and PIOs (Persons of Indian Origin) stuck in the violence-hit Yemen, the External Affairs Ministry on Saturday issued helpline numbers.

The MEA said that the Embassy of India in Yemeni capital Sana'a have set up help lines. The toll-free numbers are: 011-23015300 and 01123012113

The Ministry has already advised Indian nationals in Yemen to leave the country through available commercial means.

Notably, nearly 200 people have been killed after Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh suffered shrapnel wounds and burns in Friday's attack on his compound in Sanaa.

Over 10,000 PIOs and Indian nationals are still in Yemen, the Ministry said in a release here.
