He stunned everyone after winning 11-km 'Run Bhopal Run' marathon in just 59 minutes on December 6, 2015. He achieved this milestone with only one break during his 11 km long run.

Interestingly, Batham has won in 'higher age category' as minimum age to participate in the run was 18 years.  But after considering Batham past records, the event organisers got convinced by his parents to allow him to run in the marathon.

According to his parents,  Batham works hard, he runs 30 km everyday. Now, 9-year boy stands with Budhia Singh who is world's youngest marathon runner.

His school principal Keran Bahadur applauded him for his remarkable victory in the marathon. Congratulating Batham, the principal promised that school will provide all support to the marathon boy. Enthusiastic Batham wants to be professional runner.
