He achieved the milestone at the age of 18. Raman has been recognised as a CA by Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the global professional accounting body in the Gulf.

Raman was a student of Indian High School in Dubai. He is originally from Chennai. Raman started his CA course in December 2012 and finished the course in three years in June 2015 by clearing 14 papers in the first attempt.

Initially, he was not comfortable with accounting and finance but by the time he evolved his comprehension and the result surprised him too. In his statement, Raman admitted he did not know that he would end up clearing it so fast.

Raman is a very punctual student. He would get up at 6.00 am every day to study even on holidays. He follows some weird superstitious such as wearing the same shirt, pant, vest, socks and shoes and eating the same type meal on all exam days.

Interestingly, he did his CA course along with his school and college studies. The boy took an average of 3.5 months to study for each exam of CA.

The London-headquartered ACCA has over 1,78,000 members and 4,55,000 students in 180 countries. While most of the ACCA candidates start their course at 18 years of age, Raman's exceptional talent made him CA at the same age.

He wants to peruse an MBA degree from the USA with an aim to be a professional in the field of banking investment.
