Bhopal: The CBI probing the murder of Bhopal based RTI activist Shehla Masood will conduct a polygraph test on the key accused in the case the BJP state unit president and MLA Dhruvnarayan Singh.

The test is likely to be conducted in Delhi. The CBI has to submit the test report on March 16 in the court. 

A special CBI court on Tuesday remanded three accused, including city-based interior designer Zahida Pervez, to judicial custody till March 26 in connection with the murder.

The special CBI court of Judicial Magistrate Subhra Singh sent Zahida, her assistant Saba Farooqui and contract killer Shakib 'Danger', allegedly hired by the prime accused to execute the murder, in 14-day judicial remand, senior Public Prosecutor Hemant Shukla told media persons.

Earlier Zahida and Saba have already undergone the test. However, later she withdrew from interrogation and refused to undergo the test. Sources in the CBI said the investigative agency will take this test as the main evidence.

The Bhopal based RTI activist was murdered on August 16, 2011 at the behest of Zahida who was having an illicit relationship with Dhruv Narayan Singh.
