"Due to security reasons, as advised by the Delhi Police, two metro stations will remain closed between 9 am and 5 pm due to a snap dharna likely to be organized by pro-Seemandhara and Telangana activists near VVIPs residences," a Delhi metro official said.

However, interchange and controlled exit would be allowed at the Central Secretariat station.

It is expected that a number of Congress leaders in the Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions may quit Congress in the wake of the ruling party's determination to go ahead with state's division.

The YSR Congress is organizing a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Monday against the division of Andhra Pradesh. The party leaders and supporters have left for the national capital in two trains from different parts of the state.
