"Metro train services will be available from 4 am on election day i.e., 10th April with a frequency of 30 minutes till 5 am," a Delhi Metro Railway Corporation (DMRC) spokesperson said.
Thereafter, normal days' service will resume for the entire day, he said.

A number of people in the city and its adjoining cities – Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon depends on Metro train services, which is one of the major commuting lifelines in the city.
Delhi goes to the polls on Thursday with a total of 150 candidates in the fray. Polling for the seven Lok Sabha seats will be held from 7 am to 6 pm in which 1.27 crore people are eligible to vote.

The national capital is all set to witness am exciting triangular contest between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
