Los Angeles: Former child star Aaron Carter has taken a U-turn to deny reports that he was offered cocaine by Michael Jackson when he was 15.

Aaron, who is better known as the younger brother of 'Backstreet Boys' member Nick Carter, says he was misquoted, reports say.

"Nothing was said that was reported," said a representative.

Aaron had hit the headlines and shocked the fans of Jackson by making the revelations to the Australian version of the Ok! magazine.

The 23-year-old star spent time in rehab in January to overcome "some emotional and spiritual issues."

Aaron came in touch with Jackson during the making of charity single ‘What More Can I Give’ which was written and composed by the 'Thriller' hitmaker.

The track, which was created to raise money for the victims of September 11 terrorist attacks, failed to get an official release.
